Fireworks in Futagotamagawa

After almost 3 years in Japan, I finally went to my second Hanabi (fireworks). However, this is my first real time attending. That is, arriving early, finding a good place, putting out a tarp, and having a few beers and relaxing. Summer entertainment is top notch in Japan.

I should have read a bit more about taking photos of fireworks before going as I could not figure out the proper settings to really make them come alive. Hence no photos. However, there is a video at the end of the post that turned out pretty well. All photos shot with a Canon Kiss X3/500D.
